Each tea leaf is meticulously hand-picked by our Japanese tea farmers before stone grinding them into 100% authentic green tea powder. Matcha acts as both a stimulant (caffeine) and a relaxant (L-theanine) to help you feel energised, focused and calm. 1 cup of Matcha has the health benefits equivalent to 10 cups of green tea, thanks to its high levels of antioxidants, metabolism boosting effect & detoxifying properties.
Traditional preparation: Scoop and sift 1- 2 tsp of matcha into a bowl, add 60ml of hot water (around 70℃, not boiling) then whisk briskly in a "Z" shaped pattern for a minute or two until the matcha froths into a bright vibrant green.
IMPORTANT: Once opened best consumed within 1 month to prevent oxidisation that leads to changes of colour and reduction of health benefits.
